Buying Dubai Property From Overseas Using a Power of Attorney: What Buyers Should Know in 2026

A buyer living in London, Mumbai, Singapore or another country does not necessarily have to fly to Dubai for every stage of a property transaction. A properly prepared Power of Attorney can allow a legal representative to act for the buyer within the authority granted in the document. Dubai Land Department currently confirms that a legal proxy may transact a customer’s property through a duly legalised and regulated Power of Attorney.
